UN/HEIMLICH

The title of the project plays with the German words “unheimlich” (eerie, weird, uncanny) and “heimlich” (secretly), whereas both word contain the German word “Heim” (home).

The pictures have been taken during long walks around Neukölln, which is the neighbourhood of Berlin where the photographer was living.

in fact, the location does not matter because the project means to be a topographic narrative that evokes impressions and emotions generated by a modern metropolis.
